This one started with an idea from the very talented Australian Chef Scott Pickett (Estelle Bistro, near Melbourne). He was looking for something special for his new venue “Matilda”, which uses a lot of cooking over the wood fire. He asked me if we could use charcoal or ashes as a material. I instantly fell in love with the concept. A few weeks of experiments later, the knives are arriving on his tables and on my catalogue. That’s how I love to collaborate!
